"Great Scott! Back to the Future is taking over Symphony Hall just in time for New Year's Eve.
The Boston Pops has a special treat in store for fans who can't get enough of Marty McFly and Doc Brown, as the orchestra will be performing the full score to the 1985 hit film during three post-Christmas concerts. The performances, which include screenings of Michael J. Fox's classic movie, are scheduled to take place on December 30 and December 31.
Conductor Constantine Kitsopoulos has been tapped to lead the upcoming shows, which will also feature 20 minutes of new music written by Alan Silvestri, the composer who crafted the original score for Back to the Future........."
