Composer Alan Silvestri to Receive BMI Icon Award for Film & TV @ billboard.com

Grammy- and Emmy-winning composer Alan Silvestri will receive BMI's Icon Award for outstanding career achievement at the company's 2017 Film, TV & Visual Media Awards. The ceremony will take place on May 10 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Silvestri's career has evolved through working relationship with director Robert Zemeckis for the scores of several hits including the TV series CHiPs, the Back to the Future trilogy, Romancing the Stone, Forrest Gump (which earned him an Oscar nomination for best original score), Flight, The Christmas Carol and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".........
