"The filmmaker Robert Zemeckis has called Alan Silvestri his "creative soulmate" – a fitting description for the composer who has scored all of the director's major films including the "Back to the Future" trilogy (1985-), "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988), "Forrest Gump" (1994), "Cast Away" (2000) and "The Polar Express" (2004).
